PATTERN INFORMATION

The “Braids” you’re going to make look more complicated than they are. The loops that you’ll make are easy to ‘braid’. You’ll simply pull them through each other using a crochet hook or your fingers. The stitches in this pattern are all basic; just chain stitches and single and double crochet stitches.

The Braid Plaid makes a perfect lapghan. You’ll use quite some yarn so the plaid will be pleasantly heavy. To make it more colourful, you could make rows 2 and 3 in one colour and rows 4 and 5 in a different one.
